Meet Dauncey!
I’m a freelance filmmaker based in Abbotsford, B.C with a passion for every stage of storytelling – from pre-production and filming to editing, post-production and broadcast. My filmmaking journey began in 1990 at the age of 15, when I first discovered the excitement of capturing life through a lens.
I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Religious Studies (1998) and a Master of Arts in Pastoral Ministry (2021). I served as a Media Pastor at Church in the Valley in Langley, B.C. for many years. My professional experience includes directing the television program It Is Written Canada in Oshawa, Ontario for several years.
Outside of filmmaking, I enjoy playing sports like ice hockey and pickleball, going on outdoor adventures with my son, and traveling with my wife.
